Our early childhood classes provide a safe, fun and exciting environment for kids to begin to learn who God is and what He has done.
Our teachers and volunteers are committed to providing a comfortable environment for your child to grow in their understanding of God's love for them.
Safety & Security
Your child’s safety is very important to us. It is our policy that 2 volunteers are with children at all times. Children go into bathroom stalls alone unless assistance is needed. In this case, the stall door is left open. Our volunteers, who are identified with lanyards, all have received background checks & training so we can provide safe, loving and quality care to each child.
The morning begins with playtime activities while children are being dropped off. In the 2 year old through kindergarten classes, teachers introduce an activity which is related to the story once all of the children have arrived.
Then, the children are taught the Bible lesson through a puppet show with the beloved characters of “Delbert and Lello.” The Worship, The Word & The Way Bible curriculum is designed to help children discover who God is and what He has done. Children learn the stories of the Bible – from Genesis through Revelation – through age-appropriate activities that make the stories come alive.
To see what the children are learning, please visit our children’s curriculum website: ResourceWell.org
After our opening activities in secure classrooms, 2’s–K’s move to Praise Time – an interactive time of live worship. Preschoolers love to sing and dance, so we include lots of opportunities to do so as we sing praises to our King.
Craft / Snack Time
The children then participate in another activity or craft that corresponds with the story they just heard … so make room on that fridge for those wonderful works of art! Following this is the ever-popular snack time! If your child has food allergies please be sure to alert the teacher ahead of time and pack a suitable snack for your child.
