FAQs
What is MAN CAMP?
Man Camp is a two night camping experience with a bunch of guys and a chance to have some fun, relax in nature, do a little hard work, have lots of laughs, compete with others, and generally be a guy while getting real with God. You will be in a Squad with a handful of other guys for the weekend.
Who can come to MAN CAMP?
Anyone 18 or over who has male equipment. 16-18 year olds can also attend as a part of the Father/Son squad. Uncle/Nephew, Step-dad/Step-son, etc also qualifies. 15 and younger will need to wait a few years.
Where, When, and How Much?
Friday night January 31st through noon on Sunday, February 2nd. We will be camping at Big Oaks Ranch, Chuluota, FL. Maps and details will be sent prior to your pre MAN CAMP squad meeting
The cost is $65 per man.
What do I get for my money?
Lunch on Saturday, Man Camp swag, access to campsite and facilities, and the experience of a lifetime.
What’s up with the Squads?
Men are built to be in teams with other men. So every guy will be part of a squad of 5-10 guys. You will arrive together, work together to set up your camp site, cook your meals together with the exception of Saturday lunch, enter competitions as a squad, and work tougher on the serving project for a few hours. You can choose a squad leader when you register or let us assign you to one if you don’t care.
What kind of accommodations are there?
Whatever tents you and your squad come up with. NO RV’s.
What if it rains?
You will get wet. 😂
Will there be alcohol?
We are not providing any but we are also not checking your bags to see what you bring. Being a man involves being responsible and us not having to chaperone anyone. If a squad wants to have a beer and a cigar around their evening campfire be a man about it and not a boy who can’t control himself.
Will there be firearms?
NO, because they don’t mix with alcohol. We will confiscate guns. Also, leave chainsaws and axes home. Past MAN CAMP experience shows they are a bad idea when guys want to start showing how proficient they are with them.
What’s the deal with the work project?
Men work. That is how God made us. So we will have a few hours on Saturday to work in squads on a community work project. You will find out more about it at your pre MAN CAMP squad meeting that your squad leader will be in touch about.
