OPA! (Women’s Summer Gathering 2025)

On July 28th, we had our 4th annual Gathering Summer Dinner. 134 women came together to enjoy fellowship and food. Our theme this year was Greece. Complete with Greek cuisine, décor, music, and even My Big Fat Greek Wedding running in the background. We were entertained with games and dancing led by Patti Harshey and Mary Iaccarino. We had a large team of women who generously donated their time and talents to make a night like this possible, as well as a couple of men who graciously stepped in to help serve during the event. These individuals made the night what it was! We catered the delicious food for this event from multiple local Greek Restaurants, with many servant-hearted hands involved throughout the shopping, cooking, and cleaning process. Many thanks to all for making it such a special night!

As our church experiences growth, we are welcoming many new women to events like this. The summer dinner has become a joyous occasion and a fantastic opportunity for women to meet other women and experience the opportunity for rich connection. The Church is a gift, and we walk away from nights like this feeling blessed because we have each other, and breaking bread together is one of many ways we experience it.
